The TTV one is 12lbs, the RA4 from ECS is 12lbs, the one from JHM is 9lbs. the RA4 flywheel would be a problem for trying to use the B7 RS4 pressure plate. I would really like a heavier flywheel like the 18.5lbs one Mike Hood sells () but he said the height difference vs. There are a handful of engines in Audi’s and VW’s that have faulty torque converters, often referred to as TC, so it isn’t too common but is apparent in automatic B5 S4’s. I need this shipped to the UK as fast as possible to finish my build. So hoping someone knows of some hidden stock. Typically such a gap would be a worry sign that may result in a weak pedal or slipping clutch, due to the clutch & PP needing to push and sustain hold 1.5mm further than typical. This is due to their being a 1.5mm difference in offset from the friction surface and PP mating surface vs the stock flywheel. When sandwiching the entire assembly of TTV Flywheel, FX400 Disk and CM Pressure Plate, there is an evident 1.5mm gap where one would typically expect a clutch and PP mounting point to be relatively flush. We've measured & checked numerous times, but I wouldn't mind some input. Figured I'd post this here rather than in my build thread, as I need some confirmation quickly to avoid holding up the engine going back in. ![]()
